Narrative 👁️🗨️
- MC arrives to Shanghai to begin their studies. Utilizes instagram and a blog to document their travels and experiences in Shanghai for their family and friends back home. Post begin as regular pictures and other content to build background and characterization.
- Comes to Shanghai to study ima/media studies, justifies participation in capstone and utilizing textbooks in library that relate to the research I’ve done last semester
- Tours the campus, introducing places that will be important later on, and introduces prominent colleagues/friends. Possibly a current professor that is helping facilitate their studies.
- Shows off library, as this will be the place where the mc is introduced to the mystery.
- Utilizes instagram stories for day to day worldbuilding, separate stories to organize different topics (ab, daily life, finding clues in real life, etc)
- Finds a suspicious note in a text book that points to other texts in the library. MC is curious as this might be a forgotten scavenger hunt 👁️🗨️ and begins to document their search throughout he library and campus.

Clues point to someone looking for something, specifically the location fo a book within the library but its either lost or unlisted.
- Finds a clue that gives the MC a name for the person who’s been leaving the clues, but its a professor that has gone missing. 👁️🗨️
- Inquires about the circumstances of the professor’s disappearance to their colleagues but no one seems to know anything about them. Almost as they never existed in the first place. Goes to talk to the current prof that had replaced the missing one and is asked met with suspicious responses that imply the MC should not be looking into this. Asks audience to help find any information about the prof anywhere.
- Gets nothing from them and is perplexed goes back to ask.
- Despite all thats going on with the hunt for the missing person, MC starts to hype up their “capstone” exhibition of their studies thus far in Shanghai.
- Their posts also start to include rhetoric from the star signals book and the fifth church as the constant exposure to the text snippets is influencing her 👁️🗨️
- Reaches out to the internet, possibly through tick tok, to extend her search for both the person and more snippets of 👁️🗨️ the star signals text
- Gets a “reply” from an unknown source that says the current professor isn’t who he says he is. Sends proof of documents tying him to the Foundation. What is the foundation? Wants more information but the unknown person needs something in return. Asks them to break into the profs office to get documents and a green star
- Asks audience if they should do this and will only do it if the audience is in support of it
- If yes MC breaks into office and collects documents relating to star signals, status of the missing prof who’s now a D-Class inmate, information relating to the fifth church, green star (find reference image to make)
- If no, will go straight to confrontation between MC and Foundation professor

- Capstone Show: Posts inviting and showing off their exhibition/project. Day of the show their exhibition is “detained” as just about everything is taken or ripped. Only a single notice is posted saying “Please contact The Foundation if you have any information about the following: (social media @s and possibly QR code) !post sketches!
